OUR STORY

 I remember lilacs and lavender aroma‘s wafting into my bedroom window in the spring and summer mornings, and growing up with a mom who wasn’t afraid of hard work on the farm, but still truly enjoyed making her home feel so cozy and inviting. She loved flowers and her beautiful flower garden, believing the aroma of flowers belonged in your home and outside your windows. I named my candles after my mother, Jenny Abels.
 

 I would come home from school and our large farmhouse living room would look completely different than when I left that morning; she had painted all the walls a different color, changed the furniture around, and somehow take cute little things and make them look new. She was creative and always felt the icing on the cake was the scent of beautiful florals. I think of her love, kindness, and creativity when I make beautiful clean scented candles. 

 Our candles are hand poured in small batches in Stevenson, Washington, in the heart of the beautiful Columbia River Gorge. We use all clean ingredients that are safe to burn around people and pets. They include high-quality fragrance and essential oils, 100% soy wax, cotton wicks, and they are free of phthalate, chemicals, and artificial colors. Their burn time is 30 to 60 hours, depending on size.
 It’s fun to reuse our candle vessels whether they be tins or jars. Possibilities are endless. We hope our candles will make you feel cozy, content, and happy.
